UNICOM Global's Mainframe Division, which includes UNICOM Systems, Macro 4 and illustro Systems, was the Platinum Sponsor at the Fall SHARE conference held August 5-10, 2012 in Anaheim, California. Members of the UNICOM Global team including founder and CEO Corry Hong were in attendance sponsoring several sessions and activities, and Corry delivered an updated version of his Leadership through Technology presentation on Wednesday, August 8. UNICOM Global was also the exclusive host at the Welcome Reception on Sunday night.

UNICOM Global, along with technology divisions illustro and Macro 4, sponsored the opening night elegant dinner and champagne upon arrival at the WAVV Conference in Covington, KY, April 13-17, 2012.

illustro continued to support the WAVV organization at the 2011 gathering as it has since WAVV's inception in 1995.

The illustro team demonstrated our new z/Ware technology for modernizing mainframes to customers from around the world.

Once again illustro personnel was on-site at WAVV 2006 delivering several education sessions to WAVV attendees on a variety of subjects. illustro staff members spoke at 11 different sessions throughout the conference.

At WAVV 2005, members of the illustro staff delivered a total of 10 sessions over the course of the conference. illustro's staff has a long heritage of giving back to the z/VSE-VSE/ESA community, and this was the latest effort to provide valuable, FREE education and training on a variety of technical subjects.

On March 22, 2005, Chuck Arney, z/Ware Product Development Manager at illustro, presented two sessions to the members of the North Carolina VSE Users Group. The first session was "Web Enabling 3270 Applications and the second was an "Introduction to XML and Web Services."

illustro continued its standing tradition of participating in the IBM zSeries Technical Conference. IBM requested illustro to once again deliver sessions on VSE/ESA, CICS TS and TCP/IP topics to the customers attending the conference. Members of the illustro team were also on hand to demonstrate illustro's z/Ware line of Internet-enabling software for the mainframe at the IBM zSeries Expo.
